This Refund Policy explains when and how THREEMATES TECH VENTURE ("we", "us", "our") issues refunds for enrolments made through our website, learning platform, and cohorts (collectively, the "Platform"). It forms part of our Terms of Service at https://academy.threemates.tech/terms and should be read alongside our Privacy Notice at https://academy.threemates.tech/privacy-policy.
We design our cohorts to deliver real outcomes, and we want every Learner to enrol with confidence. This policy sets out the refund windows, the calculations, and the process — clearly and in advance.

It does not apply to free trials, scholarships, or complimentary seats, which carry no monetary value.
You may cancel an enrolment for any reason within seven (7) calendar days of payment and before the cohort start date, and receive a full refund of the amount paid, less any non-refundable payment-gateway charges actually levied by our processor.
The cooling-off period ends on whichever comes first: (a) the cohort start date, or (b) the seventh day after payment.
If you cancel after the cooling-off period but before the cohort start date:
These tiers reflect costs we have already committed — instructor time, learning materials, coordinator hours, and third-party software seats — which we cannot readily release at short notice.
Once a cohort has started, fees are generally non-refundable. In exceptional circumstances, such as a medical emergency supported by documentation, we may at our discretion offer a partial refund or a transfer to a future cohort. Requests must be submitted to hello@threemates.tech within fourteen (14) days of the triggering event.
If we cancel a cohort before it begins, you will receive a 100% refund of fees paid or, at your option, a credit toward another cohort.
If we materially reschedule a cohort and the new schedule does not work for you, you may request a transfer to another cohort or a pro-rated refund of any unused portion of the fee. "Materially reschedule" means moving the start date by more than two weeks, or changing the days or times of live sessions such that you can no longer reasonably attend.
If we suspend or terminate your access because you breached our Terms of Service — for example, by sharing paid content, plagiarism, or harassment — no refund will be issued for the unused portion of the fee. This is in addition to any other remedy available to us.
Institutional sponsors should refer to their signed agreement. Where no signed agreement exists, the individual-learner tiers in Sections 2–5 apply on a per-seat basis. Unused seats may be transferred to a future cohort of equivalent value within twelve (12) months of the original purchase, subject to seat availability.

We will acknowledge your request within three (3) working days and confirm the outcome within seven (7) working days.
Approved refunds are returned to the original payment method. Processing times vary by issuer but typically take five (5) to ten (10) working days to appear on your statement after we initiate the refund.
Where the original payment method is no longer available (for example, a closed card), we may issue the refund via NEFT/IMPS to a bank account held in the same name as the original payer, following reasonable verification.
Refunds are made in Indian Rupees. We are not responsible for currency conversion losses or charges levied by your bank.
Where we have already remitted GST to the government on a transaction, the refund will be net of that tax, in accordance with applicable tax law. Where GST can be reversed — for example, by issuing a credit note within the permissible window — we will reverse it and refund the gross amount.
We may update this Refund Policy from time to time. The "Last updated" date at the top reflects the most recent version. The policy in effect on the date of your enrolment is the policy that applies to that enrolment.
